BREEDINGS

On Farm Breedings — You bring your female to our farm. This option works well for maidens, females that need a little more attention or if you don’t mind your female being away from you. First 45 days of board is included in the breeding fee after which board will be charged at $3.00 per day. A progesterone essay will be provided to confirm pregnancy.

Drive by Breedings — This option works two ways, Option 1, we will arrive at your farm on the agreed upon date with the Oak Tree Alpacas herdsire(s) of your choice for up to three breeding trips. You or your representative must be present to bring your female to the breeding area. If you do not have a male of breeding age for behavior testing we will return to your farm in two weeks to test or rebred the female. If your female does not obtain a pregnancy after three breeding/testing trips to your farm, your female may be brought to our farm and placed in our breeding schedule. At your charge a progesterone essay will be preformed to confirm pregnancy. Option 2, you bring your female to us for a breeding and take her home the same day. This option offers a discount of $100 off the breeding price. Testing confirmation will be your responsibility.

*Additional terms and information will be listed on all Oak Tree Alpacas Breeding Contracts. All breeding deposits are non-refundable.

*ALL BREEDING FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL WHEN YOUR FEMALE ARRIVES AT OUR FARM OR WHEN OUR MALE ARRIVES AT YOUR FARM.

*A fuel surcharge (to be determined at time of negotiation) will be charged for Option 1 Drive by Breedings over 50 miles from Oak Tree Alpacas farm.

YARN SALES

Oak Tree Alpacas sells beautiful huacaya yarn from our Champion Alpacas. We have two & three ply skeins made from 100% ALPACA BLANKET FIBER no dyes—no blends—no seconds. The skeins are approximately 150 yards. Email or call for color availability and price.
